Cookie enjoys being close to his people and will often follow them from room to room just to keep them in sight. While he loves attention, he's also wonderfully respectful of boundaries - if you're busy working, he's happy to settle nearby and patiently wait for some quality time together. Indoors, Cookie strikes a lovely balance between playful and laid-back, while outdoors his curious, adventurous side shines through. He may be more likely to react if another dog is focused on him, but with continued guidance, he continues to improve. Cookie also has some prey drive and can be tempted to chase small animals, cars, or his ultimate nemesis - squirrels! Thankfully, when squirrels are farther away, he's able to listen well and respond to commands. Cookie would thrive with a family who can provide him with plenty of outdoor time, opportunities to explore, and continued support as he builds his confidence and leash skills.
