He was a stray that was taken in by a hoarder. We worked with her to get homes for as many dogs as we could take, and sterilize the rest. Cookie was kept in a tiny pen. For longer than a year. He is very loving and sweet for as big a dog as he is. Amazing. He is slowly building up his body again with more exercise and freedom. Knows basic commands. Kennel trained and poops outside of the kennel instead of inside.He was heartworm positive but we have had that treated. He is a really good dog to take anywhere. Reacts to loud noises like fireworks, gunshots and loud cars. Whats to chase after them when out side or will howl and bark not bad kinda funny. He’s a very very sweet dog. Plays with all dogs very well.
