Senior dog lovers everywhere! We are hoping you have space in your home for an old man looking for a soft place to land. Cookie came from a Virginia animal shelter where he was picked up running loose on a couple of occasions. He was severely matted and looked like he was on his own for some time. <br/><br/>Cookie is 11 years old. He is done with the shelter life and roaming the streets, looking for a family. We found out that all he wanted was to be next to someone all day, every day. He loves being held and loves sleeping in the bed right next to you. While Cookie is crate trained, he prefers to be out and about with his people. Hes a typical senior dog who sleeps all day and is very mellow. <br/><br/>Cookie is housebroken, but he needs to kept on a routine. The couple accidents hes had , he manages to make it on the pee pad. <br/><br/>He gets along with both cats and dogs and has not reaction towards them.<br/><br/>Cookie has recently been groomed by our vet, but he will need to be sedated when he is groomed again. He does well until you shave his face or paws.
