Meet sweet Cookie is a 7-year-old Beagle looking for her forever home for her golden years.<br/><br/>Don't let her frosty face fool you — she may be a little timid at first, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet and playful personality really shines. She loves to cuddle, seeks out pets, and will even paw at you when she thinks she hasn't gotten enough attention. She's happiest curled up beside you on the couch or tucked into your arm while you read.<br/><br/>She's dog- and cat-friendly, and she loves to play chase and wrestle with her beagle foster sibling while also respectfully giving bigger dogs their space. She enjoys toys, backyard sniffing adventures, and being your shadow throughout the day. She's also been wonderful in her crate and has settled into sleeping peacefully through the night.<br/><br/>She's still gaining confidence with walks, as loud cars and delivery/garbage trucks can be scary, so a patient adopter who will let her build confidence at her own pace would be ideal. She's met respectful kids ages 2–9 and has done well with them.<br/><br/>She's a truly sweet girl with a growing love for cuddles and a tail that never stops wagging when she sees her people. She'd likely thrive with another respectful dog, but could potentially be happy as an only pup too. <br/><br/>Adoption fee is $375 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.<br/><br/>STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
