I was found as a stray so we don’t know much about my background and am estimated to be approximately 5 years old. I’m so lucky that I came to RTRC. After all the travelling about in the last few months, I’m just looking for a soft landing and a permanent home.<br/><br/>When I first meet you, I like to stand on my hind legs and kiss you all over; oh, how happy this makes me feel! Do you want to do some cuddling, snuggling and kissing?<br/><br/>You know I get along with other dogs, small ones or big ones are perfect to play with. I am fine with meet and greets with other dogs, I get very excited. Chew toys are a must, I love chewing on things and I find it soothing but most of all I want to be loved! I like to be by your side at all times if possible and love to stand up and give kisses and dance for you.<br/><br/>I need someone who is willing to teach me all the dog things. I need someone who is patient and kind and understands that I have much to learn and that accidents will happen. When I do my business outside, I need to be rewarded and praised. This is not something that will happen overnight so can I please have your patience and kindness when working on this?<br/><br/>I love to cuddle but I am very good in my crate overnight. I don’t like to be alone though and prefer my crate to be near you at night. During the day I am okay in it for short periods if absolutely necessary, but would prefer not at all if possible.<br/><br/>I am not destructive, I am a happy girl. I am very loving and enthusiastic and sometimes will voice my opinion. I would do well on my own or in a home with other dogs. I haven’t met any cats that I can recall. Although I’m not in a house with children I am very friendly with them when my foster Mom takes me on walks and because I am little, children want to pet me often. Any children will need to be respectful of my size. <br/><br/>A lot of these experiences are new and different for me and it would be wonderful if we could discover these together.
