Cookie's Story

Cookie is a 7-month-old spayed female American Pitbull Terrier with gorgeous blue and white coloring and the sweetest personality once she gets to know you. This precious girl can be a little shy at first, but with a little patience and kindness, she quickly blossoms into a total love bug who just wants to crawl into your lap and soak up affection.

Cookie is still learning how to walk on a leash, but she's making progress every day. Because she loves having space to run and play once she's comfortable, she would probably do best in a house with a fenced-in backyard where she can really let loose and enjoy herself.

Once Cookie feels safe and confident in her environment, her playful side comes bursting out. She gets the zoomies and has the absolute best time running around outside, playing, and enjoying life like a carefree puppy should.

Cookie is dog-friendly so far, but as always, a meet and greet is necessary to ensure a good fit. A calm and confident dog in the home could really allow her to come out of her shell.

And if you want the quickest way to Cookie's heart, chicken jerky treats are definitely the answer! This sweet girl lights right up when snacks are involved.

If you're looking for a gentle, loving pup who just needs a little confidence and a lot of love, Cookie is ready to find her forever family.
