Cookie's Story

Thank you for your interest in adopting.

Cookie lives in a Vestavia foster home. If your application is approved, will put you in touch with the foster family and you can FaceTime or set up a meet and greet.

Cookie was found stray with her sister and brother in Chilton County. They had been roaming a neighborhood at barely 6 weeks old, starving, skinny, and internal and external parasites. When we learned about them, we knew we needed to help.

We believe that the puppies were handled, possibly by children, because they were so sweet and so happy to be held. Once their skin started showing signs of Mange, we think nobody touched them after that and maybe that's when they ended up stray.

Cookie is a healthy almost 12 week old puppy pictured. She weighs approximately 13 lbs. We think she has several breeds in her DNA and feel sure she will not grow over a medium size.

Cookie is fostered with another puppy, two adult dogs, a working couple, and school aged child.

Cookie is learning the crate. She is a sweetheart. She does not live with cats, but we think she could easily live with a cat because she has a sweet temperament.

Cookies adoption includes spay, rabies, puppy vaccines and 2 boosters, multiple dewormings, microchip, and she receives, flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Her adoption fee is $295

Serious Adopters should fill out the application online and we will be in touch with you ASAP.

We prefer a vet reference, current or previous, to adopt a puppy.

https://form.jotform.com/212574701956157
