A lot is riding on the name Conrad, especially coming fresh off this summer’s TSITP. Big shoes to fill! This Conrad delivers! He certainly garners his very own Team Conrad <3 This boy is as affectionate as heck. He wants to hug you. His little hands are always trying to wrap themselves around your waist or hips :) He likes to put his face close to yours. Conrad has such a big heart and so much love to give, he wants to share them with his humans. When not off chasing balls, Conrad wants to be near you. He loves your pets and kisses. Certainly sounds like Conrad from TSITP who is loyal to the people he loves and puts them first. And looks wise? With his adorable unique look, this Conrad matches his counterpart’s good looks :) Conrad is pretty high energy. He loves to run. He’s fast. He makes a good running partner. He is also a huge fan of soccer. He loves to kick soft balls around. He chases them, carries them in his mouth, proudly shows them off. Even when distracted by his ball, he comes when he is called most of the time. Conrad is super smart. He listens and understands what is expected of him after a few repeats. He is a trainer's dream. He has learned to sit nicely directly in front of you to wait for his ball to be thrown. Conrad walks nicely on a leash. He gets whiny when he sees a dog on his walk. He wants to go say 'hi' and play. He is wonderful with dogs. If you give him a gentle tug, some verbal encouragement and keep walking, Conrad follows suit. He is so wonderful with directions. You could also position him between your legs and give him gentle words of encouragement; he stops whimpering and switches to quietly observing instead. Is he amazing or what?!<br/><br/>Conrad is a year old, 30lb. He is a Retriever mixed with a Brachycephalic breed. He is looking for a fairly active family who could provide him with a balance of exercise and snuggles and cuddles. A home with a resident dog, an enclosed fence and kids who will engage with him is preferred.
