Conrad's Story

Meet Conrad!

This little lad is 6 months old and about 30 pounds! Conrad is a goofy, affectionate young pup with a heart as big as his smile. Like many puppies, the world felt like a pretty overwhelming place at first and he was showing signs of reactivity. Thanks to his very patient foster mom, positive training, and a lot of encouragement, Conrad has made incredible progress.

His foster recently shared one of his biggest milestones yet after puppy class: "Second class today and he was so good! He was calm enough that he actually laid down for some of the class. He was on such high alert last time." At home, he's also started relaxing enough to nap on the couch and is slowly learning that the world isn't as scary as it once seemed. Watching his confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding.

Conrad is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash, and loves other dogs. He's food motivated, eager to learn, and always ready to make you laugh with his goofy personality. Because he's still building confidence, Conrad would do best in an adult-only home with people who will continue helping him see that the world is full of good things.

Every day, Conrad proves that with patience, understanding, and a little love, dogs can blossom into the companions they were always meant to be. If you're looking for an adventurous, snuggly best friend and want to be part of an amazing success story, Conrad is waiting to meet you.
