Connie's Story

A Gentle Giant Maybe somebody cropped her ears and her tail to try to make her look tough. But the one thing they couldn’t crop out of this girl was her sweetness. Connie is a 70 lb. gentle giant. Most likely a Cane Corso mix, Connie has a soft black and brown brindle coat and is approximately 2 years old. She is gentle, friendly, and calm, and she’s a dream to walk on a leash. She stays by your side, looks up at you to check in occasionally, and doesn’t pull. Connie knows how to sit for treats and takes them from your hand with a soft, easy mouth. Connie doesn’t appear to have any interest in wrangling with other dogs, though she does show a natural curiosity. We’ll provide more information as we learn more about her interactions. But in the meantime, call or stop by the shelter to meet Connie, who is rapidly becoming a staff and volunteer favorite!
