Connie's Story

All she wanted was to get some education!! Young Connie was found near Krause Elementary fending for herself when discovered by a good Samaritan. Safely with our shelter now, we'll see if we can help her crack the books and learn a few things while we have her! Connie has started out to be a shy student, but her confidence has grown with time...and recess (aka playgroups)! Under a year old, she has a little growing to do but look at the beauty she is becoming with her subtle sooty coloring and sleek, mostly black, coat!! Adopt this looker and make Connie the star pupil of your home!

Brenham Animal Services's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is designed to be simple and welcoming! Available animals are adopted on a first-come, first-served basis. If an animal is not yet available because they are completing a required hold period or awaiting spay/neuter surgery, a reservation may be placed for them. Adopters must be 18 years of age or older and complete an adoption application for each animal they are interested in adopting. Our team is happy to help you through the process and answer any questions along the way as you find the right new companion for your family.
