Congo's Story

ID 61463572

Buffalo, meet Congo. Somehow this ridiculously good looking boy ended up tied to a pole and left behind.

But here’s the thing: 2 year old Congo was clearly loved once. Someone invested time in him. He’s housebroken and knows sit, lay down, off, paw (with BOTH paws, thank you very much), spin, and a version of roll over that we’re still trying to figure out. He was definitely taught to do something on his back. We just don’t know what it is yet!

Congo is a cuddle bug. An adventurer. An all-around good dude. He is all vibes. Not much phases him. He’s happy to go along for the ride and see where the day takes him. Congo approaches life with the unbothered energy of a guy who knows everything is probably going to work out.

And when the adventures are over? Congo is ready to MELT. Give him some belly rubs or start rubbing that big ol’ face and watch every muscle in his body relax until the pittie phlem phlem comes out and he basically turns into a puddle. There are few things this boy loves more than being loved on.

Congo passed his dog assessment and would love a dog friend to play, adventure and vibe with.

So, Buffalo, who will you be the lucky person to take the boy who was left tied to a pole and give him the life he should have had all along?

Take him on adventures. Let him cuddle up beside you. Teach him new tricks — and maybe finally figure out what the heck he’s trying to do on his back. He’ll give you nothing but love in return. Stop by and meet him anytime we're open, no appointment needed.
