Colton James

Colton James is a 1.5 year old Golden Retriever who we rescued at birth. He has a cleft palate which made it impossible to nurse on mom. After 12 weeks of hand on care Colton James found an amazing home with 2 wonderful parents. His dad who was his person unfortunately passed away and his mama had to make the heart wrenching decision to ask for us to rehome Colt because he deserved more attention then could be given considering the circumstances 💔 Colton lived on a farm and loved the pond and freedom that came with the property. <br/>We placed Colt in foster to help with some of the training he needed. Colton would do best in a low vibe home. His foster mom does report that he loves her children who are older and has come to loves one of her dogs. He does become overwhelmed with alot of stimulation and is scared. He would need a fenced in yard as he is not great on a leash but is definitely working on it.
