Colter's Story

Hello Colter!

If toys were currency, Colter would be the richest dog in town. This guy's favorite thing in the entire world is a toy - and he usually has one proudly carried around in his mouth like a prized possession. Stuffies, balls, squeakers...if it's a toy, Colter is all in. He'll happily play fetch, but his personal favorite game is a spirited round of keep-away where he can show off his playful personality.

His second favorite thing is attention, and he's always happy to soak up pets and affection from his people. Coming in at a close third? Hanging out outside, where he can stretch his legs and explore.

Colter is crate trained and house trained: he does well being crated during a full work day, though he sometimes needs a little encouragement to head in.
This energetic boy would thrive with a family ready to keep him active. Running, playing, and especially games of fetch are great ways to help him burn off his zoomies. Colter gets along well with other dogs as long as they respect his beloved toys, but he'd also be perfectly happy as the only dog soaking up all the attention.

He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he warms up, his playful and affectionate personality shines through. With his intelligence, enthusiasm, and love of fun, Colter is ready to find a home that will keep him active - and keep the toy basket well stocked.
