Colt's Story
Six-month-old Colt is back in our care through no fault of his own. We were alarmed to receive notification that Colt was at a local shelter. We reached out to the owner and discovered that recent illness had put a strain on the family and they gifted Colt to a family friend. This is absolutely not what we want happening. We would have taken Colt back and started the process to find him a new home.
We picked Colt up from the shelter the soonest we could after he was required to serve a stray hold. It was tough to think of him in a shelter. He had never been in a shelter in his life!

Anyway, as you can tell from the photos, Colt is a happy-go-lucky pup! He's back with his original foster and he knew that immediately! He is safe, happy, and doesn't really know there has been a detour from his intended path. We need for his next transition go be his forever. Help us share Colt.

Adopt Colt! He is a terrier/Maltese/chi mix (based on the adults in his original home). He is about 8 lbs.

Please fill out an adoption interest application to get connected to his foster. We can arrange a meet and greet.

www.ourneighborhoodpetproject.org
