Our sweet Collins, a 4-year-old mixed breed who had been adopted, was recently found over an hour away at another shelter. Thankfully, he was microchipped, and they were able to contact us. Because of that tiny chip, Collins made his way safely back to us.<br/>We are so grateful… but it’s also a reminder of how quickly things can happen.<br/>Collins didn’t mind the car ride one bit — in fact, he loved it — but what he really wants is a forever home where he’ll be safe, secure, and never have to wonder where he belongs again.<br/>Please, if your pet isn’t microchipped, consider doing it. It could be the reason they make it back home.
