Colleen's Story
Colleen, a 12 1/2 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi surrendered by her former owners in June of 2004, is our program's first permanent foster dog. She will remain with her beloved foster family who adores her. She is happy & content and enjoys her every day, sharing her digs with the resident dogs in her family. Her hearing and vision is not so good these days and she has a persistent cough that is managed with medication. She spends most of her time taking long naps in a puddle of sunshine on the living room floor, curled up on on her favorite dog bed, or peering out the living room window. On warm days she likes to meander about the back yard and now and then will break into a run and will do a few laps just for fun.

Special thanks for the following sponsors:
Corgi Aid Inc. for their generous help with Colleen's medical expenses.

Also, a special thank you to Colleen's angels - Davida, Betty, and Denise who made it possible for her to enjoy her remaining time with us (Corgis have a typical life span of 12 + years).

Would you like to be a sponsor?
