Colleen

Meet Colleen!

Colleen is a 3-year-old Chocolate Lab with a sweet personality and a heart that’s learning just how wonderful life can be! As a puppy mill survivor, she’s still getting used to the sights and sounds of everyday life, but she’s making lovely progress and settling into the comforts of a home.

Colleen loves being near her people and enjoys the company of other dogs. She’s a big fan of attention and has a hilarious little habit of carrying things around in her mouth. Toys, dishcloths... if she can pick it up, it might just become her new favorite treasure!

She’s making great progress with her potty training, especially when she has the freedom to go outside off leash in a secure space. A securely fenced yard is a must for Colleen as she continues building confidence and learning her new routine.

Loud noises and unfamiliar things can still startle her, so she’ll need a patient, understanding family who will give her time to adjust and let her confidence grow at her own pace. With each passing day, she’s discovering that home is a safe place to be herself.

Colleen is ready to find a family who will celebrate her progress, embrace her silly little quirks, and show her all the love she deserves. Could this sweet chocolate girl be the missing piece of your family?

Apply to adopt Colleen and give this puppy mill survivor the happily-ever-after she’s been waiting for!
