Collard Lonestar's Story

Collard is a handsome Texas boy with an adorable bob tail and a heart full of potential. He is 5-months old and weighs around 39 lbs. He was rescued from a Texas shelter alongside his three littermates and is now learning all about the comforts of life in a loving foster home.

His foster mom says he's doing great and settling in nicely. Since everything is so new to him, Collard finds many everyday household sounds pretty strange. The washing machine, for example, is still one of life's great mysteries! As he gains confidence, he's learning that all those funny noises are nothing to worry about.

One of Collard's sweetest quirks is his love for his crate. Even when he's invited onto a cozy bed, he often chooses the comfort and security of his crate for naps and bedtime. It's his own little safe haven where he feels safe and relaxed.

Collard is a gentle, resilient pup who is discovering the world one day at a time. With patience, love, and encouragement, he's sure to blossom into an incredible companion.

Collard is microchipped, neutered and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $495.

Eleventh Hour Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our AMAZING animals! Our application process needs to be completed prior to any pet leaving our care, and it would be started by visiting our website. Processing time may take up to 7 days and approved applications are good for 6 months. There is no fee to apply, but all applicants must be at least 23 years of age and we ask for three personal references, a veterinary check for current/past animals, and confirmation of home ownership or contact info for landlords/management companies. Once your application has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. When your application has been processed, you will receive an email from our applications team. This email will indicate whether or not you have been approved to adopt, and provide information on your next steps. Receiving the approval email does not guarantee that the animal you applied for is still available or a good fit for your home. We do not 'hold' or 'reserve' animals during the application process.
