Colita's Story

How this pet arrived: Colita was brought in by her previous owner on January 3, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you: Meet Colita! Colita is a sweet, sensitive girl who does best when she's allowed to move at her own pace. Colita enjoys outdoor time to sniff and explore and does well on car rides - she may need a little boost getting in, but then happily settles in. She also loves to run around and play, once she feels comfortable! At home, she may announce people or dogs walking by (by barking), but once visitors come inside, she often turns into a total lovebug. Due to her timid nature, she would do best in a home with older children (8+) and we recommend bringing the whole family in to meet her! Colita may take time to warm up in a new home and should be given plenty of choice to interact or move away while she's still getting to know you. With patience, consistency and understanding, Colita has the potential to blossom into an affectionate companion! Ask about adopting her today! At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. This pet is now ready for their new home! Shy/Fearful Dog: Colita requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about her. Primary Color: Brown Weight: 31.6lbs Age: 3yrs 6mths 2wks Animal has been Spayed
