<p>While we sure wish that this flood of Frenchies would dry up, we can not be mad that this little girl has landed with us.<br />And, lucky for everyone, little girl has only been loved in her lifetime.</p><br/><br/><p>She is sweet as sugar and LOVES her human and wants to be WITH her, always.<br />And, she is getting braver every day when meeting new people and doing new things.<br />She is okay in a crate, but prefers to snuggle in bed and on the sofa.</p><br/><br/><p>She came from a home with a pack of other pups, so she seems to need another easy, confident dog to help her live her best life.<br />Little girl loves car rides and is just a joy to be around.<br /><br /><strong>And, a big reminder:</strong></p><br/><br/><p><strong>French Bulldogs are not low-maintenance dogs</strong></p><br/><br/><p>They require patience with training, and daily mental and physical engagement, especially when they're young.<br /><strong>They are playful, opinionated, and full of energy, not couch ornaments.</strong><br /><strong>Frenchies thrive in homes that understand the breed and are ready for the commitment.<br /></strong><br />Additionally, although SUPER cute and so yummy & silly, most of our dogs have come from yucky backyard greeders and so, will 100% need to have owners committed to their unique long-term care, health, and wellbeing.</p><br/><br/><p><strong>Here are just a couple of things that we need to ensure every French Bulldog adopter understands and is comfortable with.</strong></p><br/><br/><ul><br/><br/><li>All Frenchies MUST HAVE A FULL-SERVICE vet and at MINIMUM an ANNUAL vet appointment. Big-box store vets or mobile/discount shot services are just not going to cut it.</li><br/><br/><li><strong>Here's the BIG ONE: thanks to their breeding, ALL Frenchie parents have to be ready to manage and IMMEDIATELY treat an episode of IVDD:</strong><a href="https://www.dogsinmotion.com.au/understanding-and-preventing-ivdd-in-french-bulldogs/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.dogsinmotion.com.au/understanding-and-preventing-ivdd-in-french-bulldogs/&source=gmail&ust=1755908529846000&usg=AOvVaw0p8eX697g6XUQ8ZqyHIBlH">IVDD 411</a></li><br/><br/><li>All Frenchie parents must be willing to make the time for daily maintenance and grooming: our Frenchies love their spa time and need (at minimum) all of those folds and crevices cleaned that make them so dang cute. It's a sign of your commitment and care.</li><br/><br/><li>Bulldog adopters have to be willing to administer eye drops; all those folds make for grumpy eyelids.</li><br/><br/><li>Last but not least, all lucky bulldog parents should expect to manage the ongoing cost of all the goodies associated with loving a bulldog: including but not limited to: high-quality food, eye drops, medicated shampoo, monthly heartworm prevention, fun toys, vet care, and endless scritches and cuddles (This last one is free)</li><br/><br/></ul><br/><br/><p><strong>PHEW - that's a list, but these guys are so worth it.
