Within just a couple of days, Cole began warming up—and his sweet, playful, goofy personality is really starting to shine!<br/>Cole absolutely loves being outside, but he’s also discovered that life inside the house is pretty wonderful. These days, you’ll often find him lounging comfortably on the floor right beside the couch. He simply likes being close to his people. As his confidence grows, Cole has started shadowing his foster family around the house, following along to see what everyone is up to.<br/>Now ï¿1⁄4Cole behaves like he’s lived indoors, his whole life. He’s gentle, affectionate, playful, and has a wonderful, easygoing nature.<br/>Cole with Kids<br/>Cole has been remarkably patient and gentle with his foster family’s 5- and 7-year-old boys, as well as their young cousins. He has handled all of the activity and attention beautifully.<br/>Cole with Other Dogs<br/>Having another dog around seems to help Cole feel even more comfortable. When he was introduced to his foster dad’s brother’s dogs, Cole immediately wanted to play and socialize. He clearly enjoys canine companionship and quickly showed his fun-loving side.<br/>Cole in the Home<br/>Cole enjoys relaxing near his people and will happily follow you from room to room. ï¿1⁄4He doesn’t need to be the center of attention—he just wants to be part of the family.<br/>Cole is such a rewarding boy to watch blossom. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities.<br/>We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD.<br/>Freeman Farm COLEMAN<br/>We are working with a family, whose patriarch/grandfather passed away; he had two separate litters of puppies arranging age from about 9 to 10 months.<br/>Each one needs a great home, a dog-buddy/can on Companion to play with and owners who are educating experienced with Australian shepherds<br/>These babies are gentle and sweet! 2 have already been adopted and 1 other female is in a foster home<br/>They are ready for ADOPTION - but we’re also looking for two or three very, very short-term foster homes so we can bring the remaining dogs to the metroplex!<br/>As of tomorrow all the pups will have been to vet for exams, shots, Heartworm tests, chips etc; we will work out spays & neuters with the Adopters.
