Colby's Story
Meet Colby! Colby is an adorable little puppy who is getting a second chance at life thanks to rescue.

Colby is one of approximately 15 feral dogs recently trapped near the tribal lands in Eastern Utah. These dogs were facing a heartbreaking reality: without rescue commitments, they were at risk of being euthanized.

Thankfully, Colby is one of the lucky ones who made it out. But his story is a reminder of just how many dogs are still waiting for someone to step up. Several of the dogs from this same group are still in need of rescue.

Colby is understandably going to need time, patience, and a lot of love as he adjusts to a completely new world. We're still getting to know him and will share more about his personality as he settles in.

For now, we're just grateful that this little guy has a chance at the happy life every dog deserves.

Colby's adoption donation is $400, plus a $100 spay/neuter deposit, which will be refunded once proof of the procedure is provided.

Please note that all Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “Needs Experienced Adopter.” Northern breeds often have higher exercise, training, and care needs, so adopters without prior experience are encouraged to research the breed before applying.
