Colby

Colby came to us from Peoria Animal Control, where she was seized from her owner for neglect. Colby spent most of her life tied up outside, being bred. She gave birth shortly after arriving to PCAS, and then found her way to Wisconsin! She's been relaxing in a foster home, raising her babies and learning to trust people.<br/><br/>Colby can be a bit cautious at first, and understandably so! But with some time and understanding(and lots of cheese - hence her name), she opens right up. Prior to her giving birth Colby tested well with other dogs and cats, but we haven't evaluated that since given her focus is on raising her babies. <br/><br/>This mama has endured so much, she deserves a family of her own. We know she's going to become someone's BEST friend, if given the chance.<br/><br/>All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
