My name is Colbert, and I am one of 7 males in the ‘Alabama’ litter. I am estimated to be born around Feb 18. I am currently about 10 pounds. I am a beautiful brindle boy with white down my head to my nose, my chest and my toes and at the very tip of my cute brindle tail. I am a pittie mix and think I am pretty handsome. I am confident and adventurous but definitely not the wild child of the bunch. I know that being chill is also important, a southern gentleman so to speak.
I am pretty active and love to play with my siblings and with puppy toys. Being outside is one of my favorite things now that it is warming up. I get to run in the grass and slip under the patio furniture.
I am working on potty training but am young and will need some patience and time to get it right.
I am currently in a puppy pen with my siblings and will begin working on crate stuff to help me get ready for my forever family.
I am very outgoing and have been with kids and adults. I am of course a puppy so love to chase and chew on the littles, supervision around little kids is always recommended.
I have 3 other dogs at my foster home who have been helping me learn boundaries and appropriate behavior. My foster mom also had a past momma dog stay with us for a bit. More about the boys from Alabama & their baby sister: These adorable babies are 8 weeks old and ready to find their forever home. They traveled to Minnesota at just 3 weeks old when they were rescue / surrendered to a local group who got them to MPBR. Despite a bit of a rough start, all are thriving and growing and full of life and love. Their momma is said to be a blue pittie and their daddy a red nose. We’re guessing there is a good mix of “other” breed in all of them.
