Cola's Story

We've named her Cola (short for Charcola), and she is currently the most entertaining dog at LTR. Cola loves to play, and takes her role as adopted mama to 5 younger puppies very seriously. She also helps with the farm chores, which we love. Cola's floppy ears bouncing around in the grass are the cutest things. It’s a miracle she’s here with us. First she was given away on Craig’s List and then kept for 4 months in a safe but isolated place where she didn’t even have a name.<br/><br/>Cola is nervous around new people but we’re working on this and she’s improving daily. She loves our volunteers and frequent visitors and we love her back.<br/><br/>At approximately 6 months, Cola weighs 9 pounds, so we guess she will be around 14 pounds full-grown. She’s gorgeous, intelligent and tons of fun.

We are all about "what's best for the animals" - and that's our number one priority. Lastly, please also understand that we are entirely volunteer staffed, and that sometimes our time resources are not quite sufficient to respond to you quickly.
