Coffee Cake is as sweet as her name suggests. Born in the care of Boxers & Buddies, she has been loved and well cared for since day one. This adorable Labrador and Shar Pei mix is growing into a playful, affectionate, and thoughtful young pup who is ready to find a family of her own.<br/><br/>Coffee Cake absolutely loves people and is happiest when she's receiving hugs, attention, and affection. Whether she's playing with toys, exploring her surroundings, or curling up for cuddle time, she approaches life with curiosity and joy. Friendly and observant, she enjoys meeting new people and learning about the world around her.<br/><br/>She is crate trained and settles nicely when left in her crate. Coffee Cake is also doing very well with her potty training and is mostly potty trained, though she will benefit from continued consistency and guidance as she matures. She is a good eater, gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children, and is learning basic commands such as "come" and "sit."<br/>With the friendly, social nature of a Labrador and the thoughtful independence often seen in Shar Peis, Coffee Cake offers a wonderful blend of companionship, intelligence, and fun. She has a moderate activity level and enjoys a healthy balance of playtime, adventures, and relaxing with her people.<br/><br/>During a pre-spay examination, Coffee Cake's veterinarian detected a heart murmur. As a precaution, her spay procedure was postponed while she undergoes further evaluation. She is scheduled for an echocardiogram and consultation with a veterinary cardiology specialist on June 12. Despite the murmur, Coffee Cake is a happy, active puppy with no symptoms and no limitations in her daily activities. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.<br/><br/>Coffee Cake will thrive with a family committed to continued training, socialization, and helping her build confidence as she grows. In return, she promises endless love, puppy kisses, and plenty of cuddles.<br/><br/>Before adoption, all Boxers and Buddies dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped. All dogs are fostered in a foster home where they are treated like family - practicing socialization skills.<br/><br/>After submitting an application, our team will contact you within 24 hours. The process includes an interview, home check, and a meet-and-greet (all household dogs must attend).
