Coconut's Story

Coconut was found wandering stray. It's unclear how she managed on her own, as tiny as she is, but she managed to find her way to us. Despite everything, Coco has a great attitude and the waggiest of tails. She loves meeting new people and can't wait to meet the ones who will be her forever family.

Coco walks well on the leash and enjoys a good car ride. She is pretty much housetrained, although it's always wise to have a potty pad around, just in case. Left home alone, she stays out of trouble and mostly naps. She sleeps soundly through the night and wakens, bright eyed and bushy tailed, ready for an adventure.

Although she does have some cloudiness in her eyes, she still sees and hears plenty well. She has a cough from a minor case of collapsing trachea, which is controlled with medication.

Coco would love a home with a fenced in yard and people (adults and older kids) who like to snuggle a lot. She would prefer for her people to be home most of the time and for the household to be fairly calm and quiet. If there are stairs, she would like to be toted up and down them, if you please. She loves attention, being petted, belly rubs and comfy beds. She LOVES meals and snacks! She prances around and gets very excited when she sees her dinner bowl.

She doesn't mind living with other dogs, as long as they are respectful of her spaces and don't get in her face.

If you would like to be the center of this tiny fluffball's world, apply today.

Coconut is approx 10 years old and 6 lbs.
Fostered in Woodbridge, VA.
Please apply at mirishaven.org.
