Cocoa's Story

Beautiful, sweet, patient Cocoa spent a lot of time in the shelter in Clifton just waiting to be noticed. Well, our all-foster rescue noticed and swooped in to give her a foster home while she waits for the perfect family for her!

Cocoa is housebroken, is okay with the crate (but prefers to be free), and is EXCELLENT on leash - no pulling or tugging whatsoever! Her current diet consists of Blue Adult Formula, but she also has a hard boiled egg every day and some chicken and rice. She eats well and loves a combination diet. He favorite toys are bones, and she certainly enjoys treats for being such a good girl!

Cocoa is cautiously curious around new people, but ultimately she is a friendly girl. With her foster family, she's very affectionate and loves to curl up in a ball next to them in bed. She's super curious and very very friendly with other dogs and cats. When she hangs out with her foster family, she just enjoys being near them to cuddle and relax.

Cocoa is spayed, is UTD on vaccinations, and is just waiting on an open heart to love her the way she loves those around her!

From her Petfinder shelter profile: "Cocoa is a 10-month-old sweetheart whos been waiting at the shelter for over a month now, watching other dogs come and go while she patiently hopes her turn is next. You can see it in her eyesthis little girl is ready for a family of her own!

At under 40 pounds and nearly fully grown, this tan-and-white Staffie mix will stay the perfect petite size! She loves all people and craves attention. If you sit down with her, shell happily soak up every pet, cuddle, and bit of attention you can give.

Like any young dog, Cocoa is full of energy and personality. She loves to play, chew on toys (and sometimes things she shouldnt), and enjoy life to the fullest. Shell thrive with an active family ready to guide her through her puppy stage and give her the love and patience she deserves. Cocoa will do best with a person or family who is home more often than not and in a home with older children (or none), as she can get bouncy when excited. A fenced-in yard would be a huge plus, so she has somewhere to run around and burn off some playful energy.

APPLY TO ADOPT NOW!!

https://rosemariesrescueranch.com/dog-adoption/

In the Consideration section, under 'Application Notes', please tell us about yourself to help us get a feel for you and your family, and as a fit for the pet you are interested in.
