Cocoa's Story

Hello! My name is Cocoa, and I’m a young mixed breed pup—just under a year old. Let me tell you a little about myself: When I entered foster care, I was feeling very scared and timid because everything was so new to me.

I’m a happy pup, which you can tell by my constantly wagging tail. I adore snuggling and enjoy anything soft. My foster parents describe me as gentle, kind, and sweet. I’m almost fully potty trained and love going for walks, though I can be a bit skittish since I’m still discovering the world and learning to embrace all the fun dog activities. While I’m shy at first, I warm up to people quickly and have been told I’m loyal and loving. My foster family says I’m easy to love.
Even though I’m still a pup, I have an old soul—I don’t chew things I shouldn’t,
preferring my toys instead. Baths aren’t my favorite, but I’m sure I’ll get used to them in time. At night, I sleep in my kennel with my soft blanket, drifting off to country music that my foster parents play just for me.

More than anything, my wish for 2026 is to find my forever home. My sweet heart is ready to give and receive love, and I promise to be your best friend and companion for life. If you’d like to meet me, apply today!
