Please put Coco on you to-meet list!!<br/><br/>Coco, Female, 9 years old, 75 pounds <br/><br/>Coco is a sweet, gentle 9 year old gal, dreaming of a special home. She is blind and needs an adopter who will be patient and loving. But- this doesn’t slow her down in the least! She actually gets along great!! Coco loves going for walks and snuggling by your side. She especially loves meeting people of all ages out and about. Coco is a VERY friendly dog, and will be a such a loyal companion for her new humans. She lived with cats previously, but needs to be the only dog in her new home. If you are looking for an AMAZING companion, Coco is the one!! Let’s help Coco find a wonderful home once again!<br/><br/>From her foster mom:<br/>“Coco has really blossomed in our home! She is SO affectionate and just wants love. Coco loves going for long walks and saying hi to all the neighbors, especially the kids! She offers her paw to everyone. She also loves to cuddle on her giant dog bed. Being blind has not slowed her down at all! She gets around the house very well and is great on the leash! She is truly one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met.”<br/><br/>No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption. <br/><br/>If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment. <br/><br/>All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.<br/><br/>Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
