Coco and Raven

These babies are named Coco and Raven, they're 7-year-old purebred sisters. <br/><br/>They're being rehomed after the tragic death of their owner. Their family loves them but the remaining caretaker is extremely allergic. <br/><br/>Coco (white) is easy going and gets along with everybody, dogs, kids, etc. <br/><br/>Raven is an adult/older kids type of girl, she has never been aggressive but has some anxiety behaviors after her human dad died. <br/><br/>They come from a family with two teenage boys. She would like to find them a loving & active home and will drive to meet the right person, especially if they could be kept together.<br/><br/>These two are amazingly sweet and wonderful dogs and would love to make your home their forever home. They are a bonded pair (sisters since puppy age), 7 1/2 years old, and are in excellent health. If you want dogs that get compliments everywhere you go with them - these are it!<br/>What we have learned about them in foster care:<br/>Coco is an absolute angel! The epitome of a perfect dog with the exception of sassy talking once in a while - her attitude is very princess like. And she is a princess - very dainty when she eats (slow and meticulously), light on her feet on walks (similar to what you see at the Westminster Dog Show), and just a well mannered gal. She loves to be loved - once you pet her she will sit at your side until your arms fall off.<br/>Raven is also an angel - but not as dainty. She's more of the "normal" dog where she is happy to eat, willing to take love whenever you give it, and loves to be with her sister and humans. Raven also has sassy talking, but only when her sister starts it. Raven tends to counter surf for food, but we are working on helping her correct that!<br/>Both of them - they love everyone and every dog they have encountered. They REALLY love seeing kids - we guess it's because they are at eye level and they can give kisses easily. It's fun to watch them perk up and to see their eyes when a child is around. They travel well in the car - they recently went on a 10 hour car ride to North Carolina and were easy to handle both ways! They also visited the beach, enjoyed walking on the sand, and met many dogs and were happy to say hello. They also hung out with two dogs for a few days and they all played, ate, and slept well together. The only downside for these two is they are not protectors, they are lovers (they RARELY bark or react to someone at the door, UPS, doorbell on tv, etc.). They enjoy being with their family and "talk" but only when they want something or just want to talk back to you - they are a joy!<br/>The foster home recommends these two beauties have a yard where they can roam free and play. We really think it would be wonderful if there were kids or grandkids in the picture - Huskies love to be chased and they would help in the entertainment department. These two are truly amazing, beautiful, and great dogs.<br/><br/>Their adoption fee has been waived.
