Coco's Story

Coco is an approx 3-4 year old Jindo, possibly spritz mix. She weighs around 18 lbs. Her journey has not been easy Coco was found as a stray and spent over a year in a kill shelter. Just days before she was scheduled to be euthanized, a kind rescuer stepped in and gave her a second chance. Since then, Coco has been slowly learning to trust humans again. With patience and love, she has come out of her shell and is now ready to find a safe loving home.
She has a medium energy level - mellow and calm indoors, but joyful and full of zoomies outdoors. She loves walks. is very food motivated, and bonds closely with her humans once she feels safe. She also loves giving gentle kisses to dogs and people she trusts.
Coco would do best in a home with another friendly resident dog to help her feel secure and confident. (this is a must) She will need family experience with shy rescue dogs, who understands that it may take a few months for her full personality to truly shine. Daily walks and occasional park visits will make her happiest. If you think Coco could be your perfect match, please send us an email with an introduction about yourself, and your family and include a home phone number.
