Coco's Story
If you are in the mood for some super sweet chocolate, look no further than precious Coco. At 7 years old, Coco is weighing in at a hefty 100 pounds. She has enjoyed her treats a little too much and needs a family who is willing to help her lose weight and feel super about her physique.

Coco adores any living thing; from people, to all sizes of dogs, cats, and farm animals. Even chickens are her friends!

Coco is very well-behaved and while she isn’t crate trained, she has wonderful manners and is no problem when left unattended at home. She sleeps in a dog bed by her foster mom and likes to have one of her toys next to her.

Car rides are super fun for her and she is great on a leash. Coco is ready to go on many adventures with her new family.

Super smart, that’s Coco. She has figured out how to open some doors – she was letting herself and her little dog friends out. So, locking your doors may be necessary!

Storms do make Coco a little nervous, but she calms quickly if her people will just cuddle with her and keep her company.

She loves children and will wait patiently while they play and keep an eye out for them when they are outside.

Coco will be a great addition to just about any family. While she does need someone committed to helping her on her weight loss journey, she can fit right in with any mix of people and animals!

Coco will be available for adoption in RI in early May!

If you are interested in Coco and are an approved adopter, please contact your Adoption Coordinator to be added to Coco’s list.
