Coco's Story

Meet Coco. This friendly girl wandered up to a home one day. Sadly, no one claimed her and it was assumed that she was abandoned. Those kind folks were unable to keep her so they turned her over to our rescue and she has been receiving plenty of TLC in foster care.

Coco initially tested positive for heartworms, but she has been treated and is now ready and waiting for a place to hang her leash forever. She is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs about 58 pounds,....a bit high after her convalescence during heartworm treatment, but she'll shed those few extra pounds quickly with some regular exercise.

Coco is house trained, walks great on a leash and crate trained. She will run to her kennel and sit for a treat. She loves everyone she meets and will thrive with an active family that will take her on hikes and adventures. A fenced yard to romp in would be ideal. She gets along well with other dogs and would love having doggy pal to play with. She's also fine around cats. She has not been observed around children, but with her sweet nature, we think she'd be terrific with kids old enough to respect doggy boundaries.

Coco is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. This good-looking girl with those gorgeous eyes is move-in ready! All she needs is her very own family to love. If you'd like to give Coco her happily ever after, please email Chris at rescue3@earthlink.net for an application. Her adoption fee is $400. She's waiting for you!
