Coco's Story

CoCo is a pretty one year old Akbash mix.

She was brought to a farm to guard livestock, but she had no training for that job, had no idea what was expected of her and was then kept tied in a barn stall. Her life experiences so far have made her timid, but she is grateful for kind words and affection. She is selective with her canine friends. A loving family would make all the difference for her and she will blossom. How about your home?

If you would like to meet CoCo, complete an application at dirksfund.com. Applicants must have a securely fenced yard. Applicants will be screened, including a home check.

All members of the household, including other dogs, must come to meet her. Other dogs in the home must be current on vaccinations and altered.

Adoption hours are 10-2 Saturdays and Sundays. Pacific, MO.
