Clydy Pooh's Story

Meet Clydy Pooh, a loving and energetic dog looking for a new forever home.

Clyde has been part of a caring family since he was a puppy and has always been a loyal companion. He helped his first owner through some difficult times and later became a gentle and watchful presence when a baby joined the family. Clyde lived with the family and their grandmother for several years and has always been surrounded by people and love.

Due to a move to an apartment that does not allow large dogs, Clyde stayed with the grandmother who loves him dearly. However, at 75 years old she is no longer able to meet the exercise needs of such an active dog. Because of this, the family is hoping to find Clyde a wonderful new home where he can thrive.

Clyde is affectionate, playful, and full of life. He loves going for walks, running, jumping, and playing games. He enjoys being around people and will happily follow his humans around the house or yard. He also loves cuddles, kisses, and tummy rubs.

Clyde enjoys chasing squirrels, birds, and cats and likes to keep an eye on his yard, sometimes barking when other dogs pass by. He is very food-motivated (so much so that he is currently on a diet!) and may guard his food, so feeding should be managed carefully.

Clyde would do best with an owner who can give him regular exercise, attention, and lots of love. He is a wonderful dog with a big heart who simply needs the right home to share his energy and affection.

The hope is to find Clyde the loving home he truly deserves.

Clyde is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.
