Clyde's Story

Meet Clyde, a handsome Shepherd mix puppy born around March 15, 2026, who currently weighs about 20 pounds. This lovable boy is full of puppy energy and curiosity, always ready to explore the world around him. Clyde is happy, playful, affectionate, and eager to make new friends wherever he goes.
Clyde enjoys all the best parts of puppy life, including cuddling with his people, playing with his brother Seymour, running around the yard, enjoying mealtime, and discovering new things. He loves being part of the action and is happiest when he can spend time with his family, whether that's playing outside or snuggling up after a busy day. One of Clyde's sweetest and funniest habits happens at bedtime. As he settles down for the night, he likes to gently lick his brother's ears before falling asleep. It's an adorable routine that perfectly shows his affectionate personality and close bond with his sibling. Clyde is crate trained and has been doing well in foster care. Like any young puppy, he is still learning important life skills, including house training and basic commands. His future family should be prepared to continue his training and provide plenty of patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement as he grows. Because of his young age, Clyde would do best with someone home more often to help guide him through puppyhood. Clyde has done well with children and would likely make a wonderful family companion for kids. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. He has not yet been introduced to cats. As a growing Shepherd mix, Clyde is expected to become a large dog and would be happiest in a home with plenty of room to play and exercise. A fenced yard would be a bonus to give him space to stretch his legs and burn off puppy energy. Whether you're a first-time dog owner or have years of experience, Clyde's loving nature and easygoing personality make him a wonderful candidate for many different homes. He is ready to find a family who will help him continue learning, growing, and becoming the amazing dog he is meant to be. Clyde is up to date on vaccines, and his adoption fee includes his future neuter and microchip. For more information or to meet Clyde, please contact us at adopt@carolinapaws.com.

We only accept Adoption Applications within a certain radius of where our volunteers are based. Currently, we are able to accept applications from Mecklenburg and Union counties (NC), and parts of Cabarrus (NC), Lancaster (SC), and York (SC) counties.

Vets and references will be contacted; If you vet office requires client approve before giving out information, we ask that you contact their office once you submit an application. No animal will ever be adopted to "outside only" homes, as we firmly believe pets have a right to the warmth and safety of the indoors.
