Clover Rover Is Ready to Come On Over!<br/><br/>Breaking news: Clover is currently accepting applications for one very important position:<br/><br/>Official Best Friend to Your Dog.<br/><br/>Seriously...if your dog has been saying, “I really wish I had someone to chase around the yard all day,” or “it's time to added a little to the pack” Clover has been training for this job her entire life.<br/><br/>Clover may be little, but don't tell her that. She has the heart of a big dog packed into a fun-sized body. Her foster dog siblings are her absolute favorite companions, and watching her come alive with them is pure happiness. Zoomies? Check. Ball chasing? Absolutely. Ground-floor wrestling with the big dogs? One of her specialties—they happily flop down so everyone can play on Clover's level. Digging a tiny “renovation project” in the yard? Occasionally. Being ridiculously adorable while doing all of it? Every single time.<br/><br/>If you've ever thought, “My dog needs a dog,” we'd like to introduce Exhibit A.<br/><br/>Now, let's talk about humans.<br/><br/>Clover believes friendships are something you earn—not something you rush. She might take a little time deciding you're one of the good ones, but once you make her VIP list, she'll happily claim a spot beside you on the couch, soak up head scratches, sneak onto the bed for morning cuddles, and quietly become your little shadow. She has come so far with her foster family and continues to blossom every week.<br/><br/>She's also been checking off her puppy bucket list.<br/><br/>Water hose? Surprisingly entertaining.<br/><br/>Lake? Very interesting...still deciding about swimming.<br/><br/>Fireworks? “No big deal.”<br/><br/>Leash walks? Actually pretty fun.<br/><br/>Every new experience seems to make her a little braver. And this little girl is smart. She gets very enthusiastic about high-value treats (she'd probably tell you that's just good negotiation), which makes training a lot of fun. She's already learning “sit,” often offers a “down” all on her own, understands “drop it,” knows “up” when it's time to hop onto the bed for cuddles, and has even figured out how to unload herself from an SUV. (Loading herself up is still a work in progress—but she's little, so we'll give her that one.) Her leash manners continue to improve, and she's eager to learn anything that comes with praise, treats, or both.<br/><br/>Outside, Clover transforms into the happiest little comedian. She has the funniest bouncy, hoppy way of running that makes everyone smile. She'll race after the big dogs, chase tennis balls like they're Olympic events, and then proudly zoom back as if she just won the championship.<br/><br/>Like every puppy, she's still perfecting a few life skills. Car rides usually start out just fine, but if the trip goes on for a while, Clover can get a little carsick. Her foster mom has noticed she does much better with plenty of fresh air, and riding in an enclosed crate almost always upsets her tummy. As she grows and gains more travel experience, we're hopeful she'll continue to improve.<br/><br/>Oh...and if you're looking for an inexpensive puppy toy, Clover has a recommendation: cardboard boxes. They are, in her professional opinion, highly underrated and endlessly entertaining.<br/><br/>Clover's dream home is pretty simple:<br/><br/>A playful dog sibling who wants a built-in best friend.<br/><br/>A family willing to let her settle in at her own pace.<br/><br/>A comfy couch. Bonus points if she's invited onto the bed for morning snuggles.<br/><br/>Plenty of time for games of chase and backyard adventures.<br/><br/>The occasional cardboard box to recycle...the Clover way. If you're looking for the puppy who's going to run full speed into every stranger's arms...that's probably not Clover.
