Clover's Story

Clover is a calm, playful, and affectionate large lab‐mix girl.

She loves playing with other dogs, going for walks, and being surrounded by people or canine friends. She was abandoned in the neighborhood and spent her days alone--hungry, sleeping in the park, and in danger from traffic and people who wanted to poison her for searching through trash. Once her rescuer began feeding her, Clover waited every day until she was finally brought inside. She adapted beautifully to a home with 14 dogs and 5 cats.

Clover is a natural leader who enjoys attention, short walks, and staying close to her humans. She can be nervous at the vet but does well with reassurance. She is clean indoors, loves her own bed, and thrives on companionship. Her ideal home has a yard, other dogs, children, and people who won't leave her alone for long.
This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.
