Clove was adopted along with his brother Chive on 6/26/26. His new home is in Texarkana TX. <br/><br/>Clove is a male black and white chihuahua or similar mix. Clove was born 2/13/2026 along with his two brothers Chive and Coriander to mom Cardi-mom. The puppies eat dry puppy food independently. They are ready for adoption having had 3 puppy vax and four rounds of deworming. Each will be adopted with a contract requiring the adopter to complete his vaccine sequence and have him neutered at 6 months of age.<br/><br/>Clove weighs about 6 lbs as of 5/4/2026. His mom Cardi, 14 lbs, is pictured, and all the potential dads were chihuahua mix or similar, as mom also appears to be. <br/><br/>Cloves mom was surrendered to a Louisiana shelter and began labor within 24 hrs which proved to have complications, necessitating immediate help from a rescue. After we got mom quick medical intervention, she came away with 3 beautiful tiny boys. Clove is distinctive for the little white dot on his head. While all three boys are social and sweet, playful and active, Clove is a bit more interested in people interaction. From early on he noticed his foster mom quicker and sought her for cuddles before the others became interested. Clove is needy-I-mean-affectionate and loves to be held and carried.
