Two young female dogs, Cloud and Rain, had wandered onto the property and both given birth there. The homeowner reached out to animal control for assistance but unfortunately none ever came, so he did the best he could with his very limited resources to feed this large family. Out of the 16 puppies Cloud and Rain gave birth to, only 6 had survived by the time our rescue partner stepped in to help. The 6 puppies left for rescues almost immediately but Rain and Cloud remained behind in SC in a foster home. When we learned about these little ladies, we knew we had to help, and committed to bringing them to PA to find the best forever families. <br/><br/>Cloud is still just a puppy herself, just turning one year old in March. She is the more confident of the two sisters but still really enjoys the company of other dogs. She'd love a home with another doggie friend but would also be content as the only dog, soaking up all her humans' attention. She enjoys chasing kitties a little too much so no cats for her. She has done well with kids and all people! Cloud is petite at only 38 lbs and will fit into most homes.
