He can be impulsive trying to get to them and other temptations; with his youthful exuberance and size, he will do best with a capable handler and some leash training. A home with older children over twelve may be most fitting for him, as well, as he is pretty much the height of an adult human if he comes in for a hug. He does love to go on sniffaris, exploring and smelling all the things. <br/><br/>Clifford hasn't had his vet checkup yet. He seems to have some dry, itchy skin that needs to be treated. It could be nutritional deficiencies, flea allergies, or something else easily cleared up. We'll find out more about that after he has his vet appointment. <br/><br/>Though we have not formally tested Clifford with any livestock, he has been very interested in our herd of goats. We do not know if that is positive interest or prey drive; care with livestock would be advised. <br/><br/>For an active home that will appreciate his energy and pupperific charm, Clifford could be the hill o' fun and sweet playfulness that has everyone smiling and playing out in the yard. Ready to party? Come grab your very own Big Red Dog! <br/><br/>Clifford will need to be neutered before he can go home with you. Though we can't make guarantees, he keeps his whole kernel very clean, appearing to be well housetrained. We don't have information on his attitude toward cats at this time. <br/><br/>A meet-and-greet is required if you have other dogs at home.
