Clifford's Story

Clifford
The big red dog has arrived at the Campbell County Animal Shelter for autographs! However, don't be fooled because this Clifford is brown and not red. Clifford is a lab and pit mix that is beyond lovable. He has a silky short coat with a white chest and white tipped paws. Clifford is a special case because 3.5 years ago he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. His tumor is not operable but this sweet soul isn't troubled by his diagnosis. He is seeking an owner to take care of him, shower him with affection, and spend quality time together. Clifford gets a long with other dogs and loves kids. However, he prefers a home without cats. He likes to drink a lot of water so naturally he needs to go out more often due to his medical condition. As a result, Clifford is seeking a family that will be patient and help him out with this minor request. Do you work from home, are you retired and seeking that loving companion to be by your side?
Clifford is constantly happy, loves to have his head rubbed, butt scratched and to be told that he is a handsome man. He is around 7 years old and weighs approximately 61 pounds. He would love to have a forever family that will care for him in his senior years. He still has lots of spunk and enjoys going outside. Clifford would benefit tremendously from an owner with a kind considerate heart that realizes the reward of "paying it forward" and will shower this handsome man with the affection, attention and care he that he deserves.
