Clifford*'s Story
Courtesy posting. This dog is not located at Sarge's. Please contact the owner at (828) 593-7243 in Candler, NC

The primary reason I am having to rehome Clifford is due to the conflict with our Rottweiler Prince. We have had Prince longer and he is my "husband's dog" and even though Prince has seemed to be the one to initiate the conflicts, Clifford reacts in defense and they are both very large dogs which can escalate quickly. Because of this problem, Clifford spents most of his time outside in a fenced in backyard alone. I bring him inside daily when I have Prince out front on his tie out but it still isn't the home he deserves. He has done great with my smaller dogs....one is a 10 lb male chihuahua mix and the other is an older female dachshund mix. He also gets along well with my female Newfoundland/Lab mix. He is good with our cats as well, but they are very used to dogs and quite tolerant but also good at teaching dogs about cats.
