He would do well as an only dog or in a multi-dog household, as long as interactions are respectful.

• If another dog wants to play, he wrestles gently and happily
• If the other dog prefers space, he respects it
• Lives with 3 dogs (30 kg, 20 kg, 10 kg) — best friends with the 30 kg male
• Zero resource guarding, zero roughness, zero intimidation

Behavior with Cats:
• Neutral to cats — even stray cats during walks
• No chasing or fixation

Home Life & Behavior

• Alone time: 0–6 hours depending on day
• In foster home with one woman and 3 adult dogs
• No separation anxiety observed
• Zero destructive behavior
• Has never barked in foster care
• Potty: 100% outdoor, though he may have a single pee accident on his first day in a new environment
• No marking behavior

Sleeping & Resting:
• Loves thin mats, light blankets
• Still uncomfortable with thick beds, hammocks, or jumping onto human beds — learning slowly
• Previously lived only on bare floors; now prefers soft but flat surfaces

Training & Skills

Leash Walking:
• No pulling
• Walks at the handler’s pace
• If foster stops to talk, he sits and waits
• Focused, calm, and responsive

Car Rides:
• Doesn’t love car rides yet but tolerates them well
• No vomiting, no drooling
• Mild panting possible
• Rides quietly in back seat
• Must use a dog seatbelt — may try to hop out when door opens if not secured

Crate:
• Does not enter by himself, but once inside he stays calm and quiet
• Does not chew or panic
• Simply neutral toward crates

Grooming:
• Very easy for baths
• Cooperative and gentle

Ideal Home

Cliff will thrive with adopters who:
• Can give him affection, attention, and steady companionship
• Want a gentle, social, people-loving dog
• Can offer 1.5–2 hours of daily walks + play
• Do not rely heavily on crates (he is not crate-trained)
• Value routine, kindness, and a calm environment

He will do well in almost any loving home except:
• Homes with an overly dominant “alpha dog” who may intimidate him
• Homes that plan to crate extensively for long hours
