Cliff's Story

https://photos.app.goo.gl/JhTws5r9W1RjfZ6g9

Cliff was saved from euthanasia in Apple Valley Ca in Dec 25 and has been fostered in Seattle since. He is a stunningly beautiful 2-3 year old black and white neutered male with gorgeous blue eyes. We think maybe Shepsky? He lives with 2 resident cattle dogs. He has come a long way learning to dog in the city but is getting bored with our older dogs and would love to find his forever home and perhaps a rowdy sibling who understands his Husky communication style. Unfortunately he is not listed anywhere so no one knows this sweet beautiful dog exists. Cliff is an extremely affectionate, somewhat lazy goofball, who loves most humans and some dogs. He is crate trained, house trained, & UTD on all vaccines and heartworm treatment. He is currently nervous around small children and we don't think he'd do well with cats. He has a high prey drive. He is dog selective and would need a slow intro with a confident, chill dog. His playstyle is exuberant and mouthy and he is learning quickly how to take corrections. He can be a nervous boy in unfamiliar environments in the city but has dramatically improved in this regard. He loves car rides, walks and runs with his foster mom. He loves running off leash in a secure, contained environment.
Link to pictures of Cliff: https://photos.app.goo.gl/JhTws5r9W1RjfZ6g9

Please email nwsnowdogrescue@aol.com for an application.
IMPORTANT: Please note this is a courtesy listing NWSR has not evaluated this dog in person and any information is information provided by the owner/other rescue. Cliff is from NW Snowdog Rescue

[Deer Park, WA]

Our Mission
NW Snowdog Rescue was formed, effective July 1, 2014 for several reasons: Over the last 2-3 years practically all the Siberian Husky rescues in the NW either closed down or scaled back (due to age) or went on hiatus (due to family situations). So some longtime volunteers felt that something needed to be done to fill the gap...
