This beautiful Redbone Coonhound mix ended up in a shelter in Alabama along with her sister, Nefertiti and Nefertiti's puppies. Thankfully, the whole family is now safe. Just look at those puppy eyes, she will melt your heart! Cleopatra is ready to be pampered, spoiled, and loved in her forever home. She is truly as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside. She is kind, patient, and gentle, with a sweet nature that is impossible not to love. She is also good with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to just about any loving home. Cleopatra did test positive for heartworms, but don't worry, K-9 Lifesavers will cover the treatment. She's ready for a family who will take care of her and show her just how wonderful life can be. Apply today and let Cleopatra fill your home and heart with the special kind of joy that only a dog can bring!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
