Cleo's Story

Cleo is about 3 years old, but she still radiates total puppy energy. She was one of the dogs rescued from a hoarding situation, living in a crowded mobile home with dozens of other dogs. Life there was chaotic, stressful, and very limiting--Cleo never had the space or attention she needed to truly be a puppy. Now that she's safe and loved, her playful, affectionate personality is shining through like never before.
This sweet girl loves toys, especially tug-of-war games with her foster doggy siblings. But when it's time to rest, Cleo will happily curl up on your lap for the ultimate cozy snooze. She seeks out companionship and affection, and once she trusts you, she'll shower you with love.
Cleo does have some missing fur due to Demodectic Mange, but we're actively working on her treatment to restore her coat and skin. Despite her rough start, she's thriving in a calm, loving environment, showing off her playful spirit and gentle heart.
Cleo is ready to bring joy, fun, and endless snuggles to a patient forever home where she can continue to blossom into the happy, confident dog she was always meant to be.

To apply to have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport, please visit our website at https://longwayhome.org/adopt.

❤
Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds.
