Cleo's Story

Meet Cleo!
Cleo is a large pitty mix who came to us as a local surrender after her owner became very ill. Through all the changes, Cleo has remained incredibly sweet and loving with people-she truly adores human attention and affection. She's the kind of girl who wants to be close to her people, soak up love, and remind you just how loyal dogs can be.

Cleo is still learning how to navigate being around other dogs. She does not lunge or go after them, but she does bark, so she'll benefit from continued guidance, patience, and positive experiences as she builds confidence. With people, though? Total lovebug. She would thrive with adopters who understand her needs and are excited to help her continue growing and learning at her own pace.

Cleo is available now for adoption! If you think this sweet girl could be the right fit for your home, head to happylifeanimalrescue.org and register for adoption. Cleo is ready for her fresh start-and she's hoping it starts with you .
